Location
We are in the upper Tuscia in Lazio, on a vulcanic plateau at an altitude of 620 m; on the border of Umbria (5 km) and Tuscany (15 km).
Torre Alfina is a quiet and historical village which grew up essentially in the XIII-XV centuries, around an original Tower (Castrum) belonging to the defensive system of Orvieto.
Later the Castrum had been enlarged and became an impressive Castle with crenelated towers covered with grey stones.
